Delhi High Court’s Leniency: Reduced Fines for Guilty KCP Militants

The Delhi High Court has lowered fines for two Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) militants due to their admission of guilt, suggesting potential for reform. They were originally fined ₹39,000 each but were unable to pay due to their family’s financial situation. The court ordered them to pay ₹9,000 each instead. The convicts were sentenced to seven years in prison for various offenses, including involvement in anti-national and terrorist activities. The reduction in fines enables their release.
